High grade Indians

Here are a few of the better Indian Head cents that I have found. The 1907 came out of the ground as you see it. I wish all the soil conditions were this good on coins.

That picture doesn't do this coin justice. The actual coin has no corrosion on it. It actually had a bronzeish tone with original mint luster. I remember finding the coin in a boulevard in St. Peter, MN. This town is on the Minnesota river and the soil is very sandy.
I used to like to detect there just because of the condition the coins come out of the ground. Nickel coins come out very nice also.

Don't you wish they all came out of the ground looking that nice?
