It's about two inches long. Made by Hickokbut I can't find anything on Google images that looks like it. Any help is appreciated!

does the spiral pc snap into the pc its against

in picture #2? if so it would be the safety lock

I tried to hook it in place and it broke off. I don't see a patent number anywhere. I appreciate all the thoughts!!
