Yes we do... in that price range you have the Tesoro Compadre, the Fisher F2, and for just a couple of $$$ more the Teknetics Eurotek Pro.... Unfortunately though, none are good for the water as you have already been advised.
Contact all the metal detector clubs in the area! You'll be amazed at what a response you'll get. Remember, these people are there to spread the word about our passion. His metal detector he receives won't last an lifetime, but hopefully the knowledge and friendships he receives will.
