Hey I seen you are in new Mexico area. Have you any knowledge of a stone like this? I found it on my way back to Oregon from Texas, right in the New Mexico area

I'm not a rock expert at all, but I think that is amethyst. I've seen those (or something very similar) around where I'm from and in/near Las Cruces.
