Hey Y'all

Name is Steve and like my handle states I am one of the few, the proud(mostly) native Floridians. Im 32 and married with 2 kids. My family goes back many generations, and were the first settlers of Pasco County prior to 1800. Full time firefighter/paramedic and USMC 0311 Infantry. I have hunted before, and used what I believe was an older Garrett. It finally fell apart a few years ago($20 at garage sale) and am looking into getting a new one soon. I ride ATVs and hunt in the Croom area and just the stuff I have found walking trails is awesome. I also have some other areas in the Levy and Citrus area that I am real excited about. If you want to know more, feel free to ask.

WELCOME

Wow numb, I thought my family only went back that far around here. Fire, I cant wait til Im on the countdown. I have a few decades left. But, the schedule gives me lots of time for treasure hunting.

Welcome Flcracker! I too am native Floridian, but was raised in Ga, so when they call me a cracker, I stomp my foot and say, 'Peach, peach, dang it"!
Spent some time up in the Gainsville area, Gods' country, as they call it.
Good luck with your hunting and keep us posted.
