I saw a news article about remain found at a Revolutionay War battle site in New Jersey .They think about 12 bodies in a mass grave where located .The site had pewter and brass buttons and a gold King George III guinea coin That would have been one months pay to the soldiers at that time . AMAZING THAT AFTER ALL THIS TIME SOMETHING LIKE THAT WA SSTILL THEHE TO BE LOCATED
 

Awesome history. After watching the video, I kind of laughed at the 4:14 mark. I know not all archaeologists dislike us metal detectorists but there are some who think we are stealing history and we should be banned from any digging at all. But to see an archaeologist use a metal detector seems a double edge sword. Then again maybe he is one who respects us detectorists as a hobby.
