Welcome. I'm fairly certain you'll get plenty of recommendations. I use a Nokta Legend and I'm real happy with it. But then my only previous detector was a Bounty Hunter, so that's not much of a fair comparison. I did however recover a 1715 Fleet artifact on the beach with said Bounty Hunter.
