Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
Hunting buddy and myself went detecting some old cellar holes. I was getting beat up not one good target and he was pulling up awesome buttons. Towards the end of the hunt by a small pond and a big rock that was cut back at the bottom I got the 5x8 coil in there and got a nice tone with solid 70's VDI. It was a tough recovery near roots under rocks but there it was a 1845 Henry Clay campaign button. After getting skunked all day it was nice that my one button trumped all of this. The last photo shows the kinda of day we had.

Not in KY but upstate NY A old settlement if your lucky enough you can pull just about anything. There been gold ring, coins, token and relics of all sorts. This was button day. Lol. My buddy found 6-7. I was drooling over the artillery regt. Button with the cannon and the eagle he found. I was getting skunked until Mr. Clay appeared. You never know.
