That is interesting. It looks native american. Was it near a building or out in the woods somewhere?

Hey Chas, it was about smack dab in the middle o' town in an old long gone orchard. The orchard came AFTER the white man tho. This town dates back to white man days in the 1600's.This spot was close to an old stage stop.Well, actually, the stop was 'bout 3-4 city blocks away but was the closest period buidling to this spot.

I only said that due to the symbols on the piece. It could be just an old childs toy or something.

lets see... you have a child....horse or dog, a bird and a broken arrow...What dose it all mean???? I don't think the arrow represent a good sign.

Hi...... nice find being from across the pond I don't know to much about your relics but over here usually the cruder the figures on items found the older they tend to be, if I were you I would do a bit more research on your find TK 8)

Re: Here's an interesting item.

I like it but it looks like a modern pendant trying to represent an old Indian piece.

I agree with the pendant theory. It seems to have had a hole in the top and that is where the small piece is broken out.

Still..."what dose it mean?"This is a good one for me to research.I'll get back with you on this.

Re: Here's an interesting item.

Wish I knew where it was so i could take a pic of it for you but i have a token with an almost identical wavy background that was made around 1980.
Instead of figures like yours has, mine had "one day at a time" in raised letters on it.
There wasnt any hole for a pendant, but I'm sure that would be easy enough to make.

I vote for a more modern attempt to make something indian like.
