Here's one from the U.P. I've been trying to identify. There is alot going on in this one, but here are my observations so far...

Nsutite Neocite Siderite Dolomite Calcite

There is also a vein of metal visible along the spine, is it iron?

It looks very similar to specimens sourced from Taylor Mine and Empire Mine in the U.P. What do you guys think, how am I doing so far?

I for one sincerely appreciate your posts. But a local rock hound club might be of interest and help to you. And please keep posting and sharing your finds with us. They are very interesting.
Here is a club in that area.

Copper Country Rock and Mineral Club.

Awesome, I'll definitely check that out. I'll keep posting on this forum as long as you'll have me, it's been to much fun to stop now. 😊

I looked into that mineral club. Unfortunately you have to attend at least one meeting and work one event,and im 9 hours away.
