Re: HERE'S 1 FOR BAVARIA MIKE ;-)

Great dig!! I have only found one of those and I am in Germany. ???

Re: HERE'S 1 FOR BAVARIA MIKE ;-)

Hey LW, do you have a pic of the reverse or the mint letter? All 1915s seem to worth around $1.50 in that condition. HH, Mike

It's an "A" - where does that make it minted at??

Re: HERE'S 1 FOR BAVARIA MIKE ;-)

Hi Lonewolf, your coin was minted in Berlin and 13,014,879 pieces were struck. It is number 16 in Kurt Jaegers catalogue on German coins from 1871 to present and No.6 in the German AKS catalogue (General catalogue on German coins from 1800 to present). Very nice condition, congratulations on having found such a nice coin

Neat! I have an old site that I have found a few old German coins too, and I thought they may have been brought back from the war as souvenirs too.

Congrats on that find! Nana

Agreed.

Re: HERE'S 1 FOR BAVARIA MIKE ;-)

A great find, it looks to be in real nice shape and it's silver to boot!

The 2007 Black Book I have says it could be worth about $3.

Happy Hunting
Johnny
