Here is the best find I have ever made. 1789 George Washington Inaugural button

I fouund this button in the early 1990s on a hill over looking a bridge between East Machias and Machiasport Maine. I found it at approximately 18 inches deep under a tree root. I used a Wilson ATD metal detector.
