People know what machine I use its on my profile. I've also posted what settings I use. I only glance at the tons of signals I dig, so I will never remember the number (which I've always told people to ignore) & lastly the depth is irrelevant as its a ploughed field.

I don't think many of the pros here care about or look much at screens, most go by sounds. (What, "I heard a distinct A above A sharp?") Giving settings on some machines would take a half a page and those settings might only work well in one locale. Many already give find depths although that matters little. Almost every time I log in here I see people asking what a metallic object rang up on a screen as thinking the detector knows what type of metal they have. Metal detectors cannot tell one what kind of metal they have, period. They can only say there is metal there and then guess as to what metal that is.

Having perfect pitch sometimes helps, sometimes not. I've been hoping to test that out on some gold coins, but no luck so far. (:
