Here is a photo of the Coin Machine, these little things are making adults act like kids again around my area!!!!!

So far I have scored more old US money than foreign money........for 50 cent it pretty fun!

sort of a coin buying gambling machine huh? well my views are mixed.first of all id buy at least one just to try it.i always do the elongated cent thing everywhere i find it.and u even have to supply the penny.we just hope the operator isnt too greedy and puts a few actual goodies in.games can be fun.the problem always come when people get TOO GREEDY. like the @#$%% casinos !!

They couldn't be putting silver coins in those machines....the melt value of a common Rosie/Merc is over 5 times its face value....they'd be losing money.

Still, a very interesting machine to look at.

so what have you got out of the machine so far?

IT HAS SILVER IN IT!!!!!! But no large coins.....they don't fit.

It also may have foreign silver coins, but I can't tell what is what.....I look for old dates on those, then look up

I have been mostly keeping tab on either Foreign or US Coin.

I would say I am over 50% to 68% US Coin......What have I got?

Well mostly Wheats, Indian heads, 2 Buffalo nickels, one Barber Dime, I think I got a Merc also.......
Some dogs, in shape.......but my friend has scored real good shape wheats, and 2 silver certificates...

I usually get steel pennies and war nickels. I got a nice Mercury dime once and a buttload of foreign money that my kids love.

Looks like easy money, huh? Well don't forget, whoever owns that machine has to have a vendor's license as well as a tax license. And a safe place to set the machine, also sometimes the owner has to pay the store owner a percentage of his profits.

That looks cool, they have several of that type around here, we just need someone to put coins instead of stickers in it...lol..
you guys have those in all your areas, just look around at a restauraunt or grocery store and look for that type vending machine. they are the same kind that dispenses junk jewelry and stuff. they have another kind that spits out stickers and cards, at a local comic shop he has several that have baseball cards in them. you put your money in and a thin folding sleeve comes out with the card or whatever inside. This guy just got the idea to put coins in his, and it looks like it is paying off...lol..

Those machines have been down in my mom and dad's neck of the woods(southeastern KY) for quite a while now. I only remember getting wheat pennies. but I try 'em every time.
