scattered snow showers in the afternoon. Highs in the

becoming west around 10 mph in the late morning and
afternoon. Chance of measurable precipitation 40 percent.

Ground is covered and frozen......................

Thanks Shermanville for allowing me to check out what's going on at TNET and get my weather report at the same time!

Haven't been outside since I went grocery shopping Friday morning. Did have the wife's tea ready with dinner cooking when she got done with the driveway after work last night however.

And I get to start back to work tonight. Oh joy! Maybe that cardiologist will come back with some helpful news.

On the way................................

A Blizzard Warning remains in effect from midnight
tonight to 12 PM CST Tuesday. The National Weather Service in
Chicago has also issued a blizzard watch... which is in effect
from Wednesday afternoon through late Wednesday night.

Snow is moving across northern Illinois late this afternoon and
will cut across northern Indiana starting this evening. Storm
total snowfall accumulations by early morning of 2 to 5 inches are
expected... with the greater accumulations across far northern
Illinois closer to the Wisconsin state line. Northwest winds will
strengthen overnight to 20 to 30 mph with occasional gusts to 35
mph. The combination of fresh snow cover... continued light snow
overnight... and strong gusty winds will lead to blizzard or near
blizzard conditions and dangerous travel conditions... with
widespread visibilities of one quarter of a mile or less. Travel
will become extremely dangerous and may become nearly impossible
late tonight into early Tuesday morning. Winds will begin to
diminish in speed toward midday Tuesday.

all take care, if you can............

My car BARELY started this morning... not the kind of weather you want to be stuck outside in. My dog went out this morning and INSTANTLY turned back around barking to be let back in like, "YO F#*k that man!!"

LOL!!! I bought a duramax diesel before Thanksgiving and have been concerned about these cold snaps. I figured out it has a block heater. Plugged it in last night after shoveling 8 inches of snow out of my spot and she cranked up this morning like I was in Texas in the spring time. I just hope she will start tonight when I leave work. It was a beautiful day to be swinging a coil too. To bad the ground is probably frozen all the way to hell about now. SMAN...

Only -13 F Bomber? We hit -34 F this morn. Maybe I'll come down to Illinois for a little warmth. Babbitt, Minn, just 220 miles N E of me hit -48 F yesterday morn..... a little cooler.

GOOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!how the hell are ya bud?was hoping you'd make it last summer for a hunt, need somebody to show me how to get into those thick thorn bushes and poison ivy

Ah-Ha, so you remember ! One thing I gotta say, DON'T drink a lot of water before you venture into poison ivy.........IF you get my drift. A week later, I made the Cubs look tame with all of my itching 'down below'! And your last hunt I think was in October (?).......Goose hunting started. My upcoming schedule is for 4 days in Michigan (www.dfxonly.com), 2 weeks in Israel (with daughter & family), 2 weeks in New Mexico (My 6th or 7th annual ghost town trip), and MAYBE 10 days in India (IF air fare is $1000 +/- ......it's now at $1500).

Come late March or early April, let me know when a hunt will take place....I'll try to make it. (April 23-26 is in Mich.) Goose/Cy-Minn
