Hey I found these in odd nail fragments, and I was wondering what they may have been used for and how old they might be. Both are at least a couple inches. Fragment A is hooked, B is pretty thick. Any replies would be appreciated. A is a nail from a hinge or latch from a barn or shed. they pounded it through and bent it over to keep it tight.
B looks like the top of a lag bolt with the treads broken off.

Thanks for the identification, nail a is fascinating. Makes one wonder how many old sites are just collapsed and overgrown.
