I was comparing searchcoils in the back yard where I have a test plot. The 4.5" worked fine, as did the 7 X 10", but when I put the 10 X 14DD on it sounded like a monkey on a typewriter, dinging like crazy and the pointer was bouncing all over the place, and couldn't find a thing. Is this something explainable? I am using a Garrett GTP 1350.
