not really seeing any crude carving marks

What do you mean by crude carving marks? You know me always trying to learn.......I thought they resembled Dan Masks Ivory Coast/Liberia......the insides look pretty crude in carving from what I see in crude also the misaligned holes.....mouth and eyes seem to have some crude areas as well.....the wear is what gets me not to much......light wood

for masks, other than art or tourtist items...you look for use wear on the inside.
