Hi all

Thank you for letting me join the forum.

I just need a little help with this ring I picked up from a jewellers last year. The symbol in the front looks like a monkey !? Or Aztec but I have checked online but to no avail.
The ring was sold to the jewellers and was a gift for some work that was completed on a construction project ( country not known) the ring has 750 for 18k gold on it.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas ? Thanks again Darren

The initials look like script 'A A'. I looked for a while and came up empty on that.

The style is art deco-ish. I'd guess early 20th C. Maybe 1930's?

If you do an image search on "antique monkey jewelry" there are lots of examples, but none like yours.

Monkey, or a court jester?
Guess it could go either way.

Maybe even Steve Martin from his famous "King Tut" skit on SNL? :)
