Hi, newbie here. Found this yesterday, metal detector says silver. Looks like it has chop marks. But what is it??

Will likely need a little more info before you can get an answer. Where was this found (directionally) what type of location was it, was anything else found in proximity, and what do you mean by “detector says it silver”?
