Help please with military button

I found this button about 9 inches deep over the weekend. I tried to look it up and it appears to be a general service army button but I couldn't find a match for the back stamp. Any help regarding the age of this and any other info would be appreciated. I don't know much about this topic. thanks for readind.

I believe it is a General Service (albert 98) 1875-1902
