Hi guys,
My granddad gave me this button last week and I've been looking everywhere on the internet to try and find out what is it and how much its worth, so far I've found out that the symbol on the front is Napoleons flag nepoleon flag.png. Here are some pics of the button, would really appreciate if someone could help, thank you.

According to the McGuinn-&-Bazelon book on dating button backmarks, G. & Cie (Gourdin & Co.) of Paris France was in business from 1848 to 1900. The backback version with indented lettering is from a later time (1860s-to-1900) than the version with raised lettering.
