Bought two Hutch sodas, one to sell and one to keep, both are Alabama Bottling Co. Birmingham Alabama with the same eagle on the back. The one on the left has several big clear bubbles on the glass and the embossing is only slightly better on the right one on the front letters. Are the bubbles a detriment or desirable? The bottle on the right may be a little but darker color.

Both are very attractive hutches. I'd probably keep the one in the best condition. Bubbles normally don't hurt unless they are on the surface and broken/burst. Nice gets.

first of all let me say, you are up early today!!

B. I like bubbles ( not only in my bath water)

how old are they? and what are they worth?

would they have had corks?

I like champagne bubbles. The one with the bubbles looks the coolest and they are not right on the surface. The embossing looks better all around on that one.Jeff I think these bottles are fairly common for Hutch bottles,I just am starting to collect them and didn't want to start with anything really high end.The rest are soaking for their debut photo in the near future. Thanks for the encouragement and advice bottlehunterofcosco.

here is one I found water hunting - still has its metal stopper
kept getting a reading and trying to scoop and it would roll away on the bottom
re check and it moved again - finally I put my face (with mask on) in the water and saw it

Casper that is a beauty! What does it say on the bottom, registered?

coil those ones you found or bought? value?

How far out was that Casper?

I bought them at the Nashville Civil War show this past weekend.Going on a bottle hunt would be my dream. The bottles I bought were all under $20.

Keep the one in the best condition. If they are identical and have no chips or cracks, keep the one with the stronger embossing.

Hey Coily,

Am I seeing 2 different eagles? I'd like to see Eagle closeups, please.

Actually in looking at the bird,it is three birds ,not an eagle, duh, hope you can tell from my pictures Surf. The bottle you posted from ebay (second link)described it as an eagle too but you can clearly see its three birds.

CoilyGirl, i think you are mistaking your eagle for three birds. Your eagle had his wings spread. Keep doing a comparison with the picture Surf posted and you'll soon see your eagle

OMG you are right,it is an eagle! it has a ribbon in its mouth but no seal like the one Surfs shows, just an eagle with his wings up.I was thinking it looked like three little sandpipers side by side.
