Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated in determining the type of bullet this is.

It looks like a modern muzzle loader one to me. Probably 50 caliber.

Hard to say without micrometer measurement and weight in grains. I'm seeing perhaps a black-powder cartridge bullet. Perhaps a Lyman Postell?

Could also be a .44 pistol bullet. Hard to tell what shape or original length the nose had.
