That looks like it only facing left , do you know the reason for the change of head direction thanks for taking the time to help me out

I don't know if anyone knows why some Roman coin busts are facing left. Everything I've read seems to only be speculation. But, no doubt, the left facing coins are rare compared to the emperor's image facing right.
Don........

You must be on a good Site to get so many Denarius. Are they all 1 field?

IDs by the end of today.

To get a Julius Caesar, took us many years, bear in mind its 100 years before they invaded us.

Now unless you are doing something wrong you should have HUNDREDS of Roman Bronze Coins from that site?

Thanks for the information mate they are off various sites but haven't had any bronze as of yet spent many days not getting anything but makes it worthwhile when you do. Just love being out not knowing what's next. Once again thank you for your time you came recommend on my thread and did not disappoint happy hunting

Odd, because unless you got a random Silver (sometimes happens) then you should get about 70 bronze to go with it. Makes me wonder if your Discrimination is too high?
Also, if you don't already, you need to grid the areas where the silvers came from.

Is there pot shards as well & lots of Lead?

Yes there is mate lots of pottery and lead

Use macro racer normally use in all metal mode use two tone to verify signal two tone discrimination seton 30 due to high coke content

OK, the pottery & Lead means your on settlement. Must be loads of bronze there, so its time to get Disc to 0 & clear all that coke. I can't help much more than that because I have no experience of the macro-racer. All-metal is a tough way to start detecting, best use in Disc but have it as low as possible. You soon learn what a nail sounds like, & anything else you should dig & clear.

It's expensive. May want to think about a second-hand XP Goldmax power. It's very good.
Nice decorated early Medieval Spindal Whorl!
Hope you post more of your 'Todays Finds' in the Forum.

No problem mate good hunting thanks again
