Help identifying an old? button

Thanks in advance everyone - I found this button in central Massachusetts. I see the word 'STANDARD' on the back, but wasn't able to make out the other words. As you can see, this button is a little smaller than a dime.

All I can tell you is, that is the Star of David symbol and the button probably dates to the first half of the 19th century.

standard as in "standard amount" of gilting -- golden type color plating applied to buttons * this type of wording was very common on british made buttons --double , trible and rich orange gilt were also used --it was a quality thing to "puff" up the quality of their buttons -- quite commonly used in the early 1800 era

the six sided star of david is typically thought of as a "jewish" symbol
