Here is a bottle I found yesterday and the first one to have no markings except an equilateral triangle on the bottom. I cleaned it up pretty darn well and it really shines now. There is a seam, but I would really like to know what it was. I found it in a dump buried underground with about 5 others. Thanks for the help.

I would say 1/2 pint of that adult beverage. There were several diamond marks, one was Illinois glass.

looks like a medicine to me. Look for the Illinois Glass Manufacturing Catalog online they had certain shapes for certain contents. doesnt look like whiskey

For many years, BOOZE has been sold in 1/2 pint bottles. See if that bottle will hold 8 ounces.

Could we actually see the mark please? It's being described as an "equilateral triangle", not the diamond used by Illinois Glass. Nevertheless there are triangles... and then there are triangles. Without seeing it, there is still more than one possibility.

I didnt mean to suggest it was made by Illinois Glass but the book describes the bottle industry shapes very well with pictures. Im just too lazy to look it up and I dont have my book with me. My memory tells me its medicine, not whiskey but why should I do all the work lol? Im just pointing them in the right direction. It looks as if dcmatt knows its not a liquor flask and found a close match.
