help ID-ing

Dug in Charlotte. Rusty metal on one side that looks like a button. On the other side is a white material, maby lead or porceline I don't know.

Looks like some type of lead seal. (?)

Any railroad tracks near by?It is a lead seal used on boxcar doors.They were used to indicate if someone had tampered with the door trying to get in.It would have a metal wire running through it.It's much like those plastic draw ties that truckers use on their trailers.
