Hello all I'm am new to metal detecting and came here for help. Ok I have question I think I found somting about 6 inches under and my detector was picking it up as diffrent things zinc, pt, and 25 cents. I will have to wate for my brother to help me dig it up as I only have a knife. What do you guys think it could be? I live in Colorado and I'm using a BH 2200 elite.

Welcome aboard from the great state of Pennsylvania (USA). Haven't a clue what you found - let us know!

You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: Colorado for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.

Welcome to the community from Missouri!

Well hmm, if it was 6 inches down, with reading as those, if it is not one of the coins listed it could be an aluminum can or piece of it. However, Bounty Hunters love coins it seems as my BH will throw out a great signal on any quarter, dime, or penny. So I would say it is more than likely one of the 3.

Welcome from kentucky good luck and good hunting
