Ok I found another old weapon analyze and I could really use everyone's opinion on it! Not sure how old it is but I believe its at least vintage! No markings, the handle looks to be pewter but its not soft like pewter! Measures 15 inches x 2 inches at thickest part of blade! It looks like the end of the handle used to be a carving of a lions head but someone used it as a hammer! Any thought? Thanks everyone!!

Hi

Its a fairly modern Tourist piece Kukri. Made to sell to tourists in markets it dates to the second half of the 20th century or later.

Actually I didn't buy it! It was free. I acquire abandoned storage units when people don't come and collect thier things! :-)

I recall from my childhood, when living overseas, schooling alongside Nepalese kids,
the legend had it that if a Ghurka drew his Kukri, he had to draw blood!
