Hello from Tacoma

New retiree looking for ways to stay out of trouble, have some fun, and maybe entertain passers-by that are easily amused.
Began metal detecting in Germany (2nd tour) and enjoyed the variety of foreign coins in the play areas. Recovered enough silver to pay for the detector when the Hunt brothers' play pushed silver prices up past $4.00 and ounce! A few WWII era bits and pieces were nice frosting for me. (My hunt buddy found a few Roman coins in a Kaserne that included an early Roman outpost.)
Now I'm trying on the more social situation with PSTHC and so far it seems to fit okay.
