Hi Everyone. new guy here i am enjoying the forums. My name is Steve I live about 10 miles south east of Pittsburgh. I just started metal detecting again, i use to go out with my dad in the early 80s. I traded for a bounty hunter tracker iv. i found about $5 worth of clad in my own yard. Now i am hooked. Dad and i went to a Beaver county state park, last Sunday we didn't find much but had a good time. I just ordered a Bounty hunter land ranger pro. and can't wait to try it out. Dad bought a lone star pro to replace his aging and heavy Whites coin master 5000d.
If anybody lives close to me i would enjoy finding a md partner.

Thanks for the great website Steve

Thanks for all the warm welcomes
Mudflap I live in a small town along the Youghiogheny river called Boston. My house is along the yough river rails to trails.

My new land ranger pro is suppose to arrive fedex on Friday. I want to try it out this weekend. My next door neighbor owns a farm, that has been in his family since the 1880s. the original log cabin is still there.

Thanks again Steve

I know Boston. Used to drive 51 to 48 and down through Boston to E Pgh. I used to hunt farms near where 48 hits 51.. Course that was 30 or so years ago. You should do good . Practice and good luck with the ranger.
