I've been digging a few years now. Mainly hunt prohibition era items but never know what I'll find. My oldest coin was a 1843 large cent I found last fall. My favorite find so far is my Texaco 2 quart can sign I retrieved last summer. That's it in the photos. Found this site doing some research. Surprised I didn't join sooner. Double edged sword this site is. Takes the edge off by showing great finds & information, But it makes me want to dig. Hard to do when the earth is froze.lol At least I know nobody is poaching my dig site! Those are hard to find with all the state land up here that's off limits(forever wild). Not to mention NYS laws for treasure hunting. I'm lucky to be friends with certain people that own private land. They let me dig & I clean/maintain/patrol their property. Lots of folks don't want anything to do with it. They either think your jackin' deer, growing pot or their worried you'll get hurt on their land & end up suing them. I'm itching for spring to arrive.

Welcome from a much warmer place, but as Gen. Phillip H. Sheridan said:
If I owned Texas and Hell, I'd rent out Texas and live in Hell...
