Hello Treasure Net. I've been lurking and reading the forums here. I decided to create and account and contribute. You guys are a wealth of information and I'm looking forward to giving some of it back one day.

Right now I'm very interested in getting AZ's placer gold. My wife is interested in getting into detecting for nuggets and relics. We enjoy exploring the AZ outback with our Tomcar and looking for treasure.

hey their! you should probably reaserch your area, and i am in tempe az right now, but getting ready to move, what kind of detectors do you use right now?

Welcome to TN! I'm also a newbie and constant lurker. The wealth of info here (is there any other word that describes the info?) is awesome! Many years ago I had a nice Tesoro and made some cool finds. I'm hoping to borrow a MD from a friend and at least start flogging the city's older parks. I'm in the Gold Country, but don't have a car. Hoping to hook up with someone who shares my interest and might be up for some weekend jaunts. Let us know about your finds!

Welcome aboard from the great state of Pennsylvania (USA)!

You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: Arizona for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.

Thanks for the welcomes.

We have an old Pioneer 101 metal detector that the wife likes to take out while I pan / classify in a creek. I've been hitting an area around Payson that's had good water flowing all year.

I am about to finish my spare parts 1'1/2 dedge. I need to do some backyard testing before i take it out. Been thinking about applying to RRPC here in town.
