Hey everyone!
I've been reading the site for the last few weeks and have really enjoyed everyone's posts. They always pump me up and make me want to get out there and do some hunting. I just recently started metal detecting again. I use to take my son out when he was 5 and he is now 20, so it's been awhile.
My wife is my best friend and we really enjoy doing things together but didn't really have any hobbies which we shared. Well, my wife loves just being outside and I'm love anything to do with history. So, metal detecting was the perfect choice for us.
We've spent the last few weekends testing the waters as to what type of places are good in our area. We haven't found anything worth mentioning yet, but are having a blast just getting out there and doing it.
