Hello All

Yes you are probably correct,I've never been there, are there any stretches of this that aren't recognized/hidden from the general public?abandoned etc.?
Where I'm located is within 20 miles of the oregon trail I'm sure there are places where it runs on private property or it's so far in the middle of nowhere I doubt anybody would probably care if you were to hunt there, just go in the spring and pretend to shoot ground squirrels/badgers,thats about the only living thing in some of these areas. It would be quite different if you were to treasure hunt where there is a parking area, kiosk with signs showing the local evidence still visible.or along well travelled roads. There are some areas of it that resemble more a ditchbank irrigation road than a historic trail.
please note that if this were illegal,I wouldn't recommend doing it I'm just thinking out loud. trying to get ideas of where to hunt when the ground thaws.
Hank
