The different materials are amazing. Did NA's ever use that Tektite material?

I really don’t know. I think they are fairly rare. Maybe the locals near where the tektite was formed? Not sure.

Every once in a while the creek yields a really big piece of Kaolin. The place is no secret and it gets hunted a lot. I’m no good making big stuff so when I found a couple of big nods I called Woody Blackwell. He was up for working them if I could make bifaces and get them heated. I gave him the heated bifaces and he made me a Dickson and a Ross. The Ross is 8 3/4”. Woody is one of the top knappers in the country and did these rocks justice.
