Health Update.....

Sunday morning around 0330 I got jolted out of a dead sleep, by the most unforgiving and unrelenting pain I have experienced.

I tried different things to relieve the pain and nothing worked. By 0600 I couldn't stand up straight. Wife was just waking so told her I needed to hit the ER.

It was virtually empty so we were taken back right away. After some x-rays, CT Scans, they discovered i had a perforated intestine (Small Intestine). They had doped me up on pain relievers to get the tests down.

I was brought into an OR room and laying on the OR table signing documents to have the procedure done. Told them if they missed get CINC Household she can sign that stuff. By the time I was under and opened up I had air in the abdominal cavity and some bacteria leakage.

I won't be released before Christmas that is sure.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, Sergeant. Sorry you’ll be in there Christmas but it is probably the best place to be. Give those nurses the business and make sure they take care of you.

That sounds awful. Hopefully recovery is quick and you can go home. Hospitals are awful places to get any rest.
