Headin' Home
I left for Kentucky last Thursday to hunt a prime location, or so I was told. Well, the scenery was beautiful, I got loads of exercise, visited with family, had drinks w/ 2 fellow T-Neters and resigned myself to the fact that I've been skunked...ack, chalk it up to an interesting trip none the less.
After 3 days, I was anxious to get home.
Left KY early, early this morning....was planning on being home by noon.
WELL, since I got such an early start and the mind started to wander, I remembered an old abandoned house I spotted on my way down south.
Huh...I did have all my gear..and I was wayyy ahead of schedule... so I decided to pull in and take a look see. This was 70 miles south of home. It was to be a brief hunt ,after asking the neighbors (one cornfield away), if I could knock around in the yard. Yep.
Here's my saving grace find Or NEW "Good Luck" charm
(oh and a few others from today as well)
Ahhh, it feels good to be home.
