Your just about above it all up there. Down here below has cleared up some today. We had some strong winds come and blow most the smoke away, but now I here some fires are now burning in Colorado.

Bad thing about a fire now is that most of the emergency personnel are tied up with the hurricanes. We lucked out on our last fire as there were plenty of agencies available to help. Oh, and it's probably technically not summer, but my summer was shot to hell workin 6 nights a week since June, so I've postponed fall for me. Yesterday was the first time I made it out of Summit County in two months, and I have finagled a week off next week, so that will be my summer.

Technically, you've got summer until 9-22, so I hope you get to enjoy some of it. Starting to hear more news reports on the fires.it's astounding how much has burnt!

Our summer in the high country, or at least summer as I used to know it pretty much ends about the last of August. But I'm makin up for that this week, haha!
