Although my TV show A-Way Outdoors is/has been hunting and fishing on the Outdoor Channel and now the Men's Channel (Dish Network Channel 218), I am looking to promote my hobby by showing a couple of segments on Metal detectiing. If this goes over well, I will do it more often. I would first like to start by detecting at some good civil war relic sites. I would also like to do a segment on older coins, then a segment on shallow water hunting. If you know of such a place(s) and are not too camera shy, let me know. I get the mens channel on Dish Network. What days and time is your show on. Especially the ones on detecting. I am interested in viewing them.HH.

Hi Chris
A-Way Outdoors is currently seen Monday Noon, Tuesday 6 PM, and Wednesday 8 PM Eastern times. Metal detecting is something I want to introduce on my show as I have rarely seen shows on it. I have not yet done a segment on detecting. We are going to Paris Tennessee in April to turkey hunt. While there last year (without my detector) I located 3 old church revival groves and an old abondonded plantation with two houses (one gone) that had slaves, and has a slave graveyard ( I won't detect the graveyard ). I plan on filming my first episode from there. I understand some Civil war battles took place there as well.

I have two sisters that live in Florida, maybe we'll visit. And don't worry about lowering my ratings. If them poor viewers can take my ugly mug and still give me great ratings, they can handle you.

I think you should use Free2detect and your ratings would go through the roof.
She's purty and gots smarts, too.

If you ever make it to Michigan during a warmer time of year, I'll take you up on the offer and we can do some hunting in the Lake (lake Michigan)! I know of some small island lakes too that are good producers that we can hunt! You could also do some fishing for walleye, pike, trout, etc. (sorta kill 2 birds with 1 stone so to speak)!

I too live in Michigan (Mid Michigan area). I love to fish as well. I just got into the fresh water hunting last year and had good success. Thank you for your kind offer.
