Have any markers lead to a treasure find?

Dear Blackfoot;
Unfortunately, an empty hole and a knife does not constitute proof that a treasure has been recovered, my friend. It only proves that someone dug a hole and possibly lost a knife in the process. It has been my understanding that there have been many, many more holes dug then there has been treasure recovered.

Sorry to hear about that. Live and learn is all we can do.

Sometimes those lessons are...aggravating, that's for sure.

Dear Blackfoot;
Think positively my disappointed friend. Let's assume that the person(s) who dug the hole did not find anything, therefore they actually HELPED you by showing you where the treasure is not at! Therefore you can eliminate that spot from your list of likely places! See? Things aren't all that bad.

Well the hole was on the slope of the mountain where the mountain lion was looking toward.
my aunt told the legend that there were more than one train taken.
so there could be more caches there.

Blackfoot,

Hope it wasn't the only one.
if that hole wasn't too deep it might pay to two box it and see if they passed it up.
We have seen holes that went to a few feet and were abandoned long before the cache was revealed.
