I know how the “identify my rock” usually winds up but I gotta ask about this one
I was detecting the base of some bluffs when I saw this rock sticking out of the side, it was unlike any rock around it so I picked it up and carried it out of the woods. After cleaning it up the stone sure looks like a groundstone artifact but it’s huge it can’t possibly be a tool, i don’t think it’s a grinding stone because there’s not a cupped side. It may be just a rock but there’s just something about it
Here’s some pictures of the area and the rocks I find there, notice they are all angular or if limestone it’s heavily pitted and very coarse
