I obtained this point from the estate of Harold Rothrock, a farmer in Henry County Indiana, who lived South of New Castle. I met Harold back in the early 1980s when I started to show at the Indiana Archaeological Society show held in New Castle Indiana. Harold appeared in the WHO'S WHO in INDIAN RELICS #2 published in1968 on page 197.
Harold was a laid-back relaxed guy, very friendly and interesting to chat with. He had an outstanding turtle effigy knapped out of Harrison County flint that was found in Henry County in the New Castle area many years ago. It is a fantastic relic.
This Kirk Corner Notch point is made of Burlington chert, and 3 1/4 inches long.
