This is my setup for dry sand detecting. I have found it to be best for me.
The "swing" ring has the advantage of following the detector, be it with the right or left arm.
The snap buckle also makes it adjustable for length.
I have in the past, tried different methods to reduce weight and stress.
Consists of;
2-"D" rings
1-"O" ring, 1" dia
one inch web strap (Walmart camping area)
Pop rivets & washers
1-Short piece of surgical tubing with a snap of your choice. I find this to be more giving then bungy cord. Replace when needed.
A couple of zip ties.
And of course, a web belt of your choice. To be hooked up to your machine as you see fit.
I hope this helps some of us arm weary old timers.
