I think this was used for fox hunts.

Good luck out there!

Attractive spoon. Looks to be from H.H. Curtis & Co. of North Attleboro, MA (active from 1883-1915). It?s their ?Adolphus? pattern, designed by Henry H. Curtis in 1904.

The harking horn is very cool. The ?Acme? brand still exists under the ownership of J. Hudson and Co. (Whistles) Ltd. in Birmingham, England and they still make those types of horn:

Mainly used by 'beaters' for communication when driving game birds into the air for shooting.

That is a great hunt! I love the spoon and token!

I like the silver spoon and that little hexagonal coin is neat, worth money* (when deposited).

Thx for the ID on the spoon. They still have a fox hunting club in my area, but not where this one was found. Last year early in the morning I was in the park woods, and heard a fox hunt approaching my spot, dozens of dogs barking and the horn sound. Luckily they did not proceed in my direction.

Glad you decided to share, because those are some nice finds. I like that token and the 2 Barbers.

ANOTHER silver spoon? You are really racking up the sterling. Nice IHPs and Barbers too.

well that horn is another one I have not seen before...nice finds

Hii, can we buy or sell archeological pieces.. On this forum

Nice finds Thad.

Those silver spoons are tough to come by.

Couple nice barbers also. Be nice when it cools down.

Hope to get together with you guys in the fall for some adventures.

Jer
