Hard Rock mining in Chapel Hill NC

Hey guys I was wondering if any of ya'll had been hard rock mining or have any suggestions on hard rock mining in the triangle? Any suggestions or tips would be great. I have 70 acres outside of chapel hill on prices/morgan creek. Could I find anything around here? Thanks!!

What would some of those places be? And it seems as if all the fine gold is floating out of my pan.... i know some people use jet dry. Good idea?
