They are probably parts from a carriage more than likely. Brass would be for something that wouldn't be so utilitarian as a wagon I am thinking rein guides and possible lantern holder. If you could seperate them and photograph individually each one might be something different.

Makes sense. I’ve found all kinds of beautiful horse tack there, brass buckles of every shape and size. This is in a suburban neighborhood I’d of N. NJ, where houses now stand but Ive found outbuildings shown on old maps. I think ther must have been a blacksmith‘s forge or something too…lots of hand forged iron

Found this in my neighbor’s yard about 9” down, near where I’ve found a lot of horse tack, a ring, a victrola key and an 1850 large cent. It’s got a greenish patina— I think maybe brass?
So I found more pix of rein guides for carriage or sled. That's definitely what this is. Thank you, treasure gurus for i.d.ing it!
