So I found this piece at the flea market for a whopping dollar! :)

I knew they were hand made beads right away and that's what drew me to them, since I got into trading some native artifacts a few years back. So I knew just the beads were well worth a buck.

Then when I got home I realized that hey those bells are very old too, made of copper and probably hand made as well.

So anyone have any idea where this could have been made? I know the beads could have been made anywhere other trade beads were made during that time. I know they are old by their shape and how bloody dirty the insides are. But what about those bells?

To me it seems like something you would find around some Buddhist monks. Even the sound of them seems like some Buddhist bells.

Any help is greatly appreciated!! :) Thanks so much.

Reminds me of the bells some hikers hang on their backpack or walking stick in bear country- so as to not encounter a bear

India I think I saw on a similar set a couple decades ago we hung on the tent when out with it.
