Hi all, have not been posting much lately due to not finding much. Went to a few fairly old houses and have not found much in the last couple of weeks.
Today I went back to an area that holds a lot of civil war stuff but you have to pretty much jump into the thicket to find anything. All the easy kills are gone. I was surprised to get into a nice little bullet patch today and I found 5 minnies in a close proximity. I brought a come along with me to move some trees that I know have relics hiding under them but my come along was froze up..:BangHead:
After that frustration I started hunting again and found some more lead and two general service buttons. One was in the same hole as a cleaner bullet. Pretty cool. :headbang:
I am getting ready for a move in a couple of months so not sure how much hunting time I will get in so I was happy with todays 5 hour hunt.
Thanks for looking and hh.

Nice lead like that all in one area isn't easy to come by.:icon_thumleft:

I'd gladly have a dry spell if I could get finds like that

Nice assortment of lead fantastic saves!!!

Great digs! :notworthy:

Glad to see you do well. This a yankee site? You are in the Air Force? My youngest son (on the left in my avatar) was at Offut in Omaha with the Cobra Ball. He is now a boomer and is going to pilot's school this fall.

When unfired bullets are found close together it makes wonder how they all got there. Was the order given, "drop your balls here boys"?

Great finds!

Jonnyrebcsa, This is all yankee stuff. Sherman and Terry's Army camp 1865. They were in place for one month. This area has been hunted for years but there is still stuff to dig if you don't mind getting in the thick stuff.
I am in the AF for the next 5 years then I can retire and live on the salt water somewhere I hope. It has been a fun career but it has gotten very politically correct in the last 4 years or so... Ready to move on when I hit 20.

Yes, morale has been destroyed, for the most part, because of liberalism. Our government is our #1 enemy. They call things that are morally wrong right.
